Help!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy, I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel. This was quite a week with successes and challenges. You know three-steps forward and two-steps back. I'm amazed that in spite of the community struggles we still move forward. However, what great things we could do, if we got rid of our egos and prejudices. We would be the greatest civilization in the universe.

Amazingly, we can't even agree as a world or nation to stop poisoning our planet. Climate change/global warming is real, but we are still trying to avoid changes that have to happen. Our planet is dying and we will not survive that. If we are going to have to start riding our bikes to work, than let's make that change; and yes, we will have to adjust our vision about what is progress in the market, but as a result we will save our planet and thus our civilization.

National Day of Climate Change - April 14, 2007

On this historic day, Americans called on their leaders to act immediately to stop global warming. In all 50 states, at more than 1300 iconic places across the nation, we have united around a common call to action: "Step It Up Congress: Cut Carbon 80% by 2050." Your move, Congress.

Tough Day...whee

Boy, it was one tough day today. Got to watch my back not only in the office, but out in the commmunity. Having a good dose of paranoia is not a bad thing in my work. The toughest thing is those same groups you are trying to work with are the first that will stab you in the back. Mostly, I'm a positive person, but lately things have been kinda' weird.

Community folks will ask you for support, you bust your back trying to provide assistance and wham they blame you if something goes wrong which in most cases is there own doing. So who do you trust? Well, today I say "trust yourself and your instincts."

Tomorrow is another day, and I am sure full of opportunities, but today I just have to "bitch" and spit nails.

Big Panties

big panties are the last luxury
cloud soft and white
why suffer anything
riding up your butt?

ditch the string things
a woman ain't a suspension bridge
something to cross
or go over or under

reclaim your artless waist
your honest silhouette
the exuberance of cartwheels
swing them unbound hips, gal

let your lollipops show.
